This trip was absolutely worth it—truly one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had! The captain was incredibly experienced, with excellent navigation skills, and was able to locate the fish with impressive accuracy. We had an amazing catch, and the whole experience was so exciting and thrilling!

Absolutely awesome experience with the boys, went out to catch some bottoms, then went out for some kingis, the kingis didnt bite so captain mick decided to go chase some yellowfin tuna and we managed to cat h 3 of them, Absolutely stoked with the trip boys all loved it. We will be back again in December 🫡🫡

Booked a day out chasing kingfish for my stag do after many had recommended club talk. Mick and his deck hand Wyatt were great to deal and went above and beyond for us and put us on some decent fish, the trip exceeded my expectations and it’ll be one I won’t forget. A huge thank you to Mick, Adrian and Erin for putting together what turned out to be an epic trip to White Island that I will never forget!
Great communication from Erin on my initial enquiry, quick answers to trip questions and confirmation that the trip was on, made booking a breeze.
Mick and Adrian gave us a run down of what the plan was for the day whilst still at the wharf. What a fishing weapon the boat is - comfortable, stable and fast! - We were out to White Island in no time at all to start the day deep dropping.
For those that hadn't fished with electric reels or jigging rods before, all was explained in an easy to understand way.
Bombs away! First drop and despite a few tangles on board we landed a couple of nice bluenose for the bin. Mick worked hard to keep us on the fish and we caught a great variety - bluenose, kingfish, tarakihi & my fish of a lifetime - a monster Bass!
Do yourself a favour, book a trip with Mick & the team - you definitely won't be disappointed! Their passion for what they do is evident in how stoked they get when their clients catch great fish.
